Purple Audio Moiyn

The Purple Audio Moiyn is an all-discrete 8-channel summing amplifier module designed exclusively for use in the Purple Audio Sweet Ten 500 Series rack. Installed specifically in slot 9, it transforms the Sweet Ten rack into an 8x2 mixer by summing the outputs of modules installed in slots 1 through 8. Each channel can be assigned to either the left or right output via illuminated push buttons on the front panel. The Moiyn features a high-quality 2-bus rotary master fader for output volume control and uses custom hexifiliar transformer-isolated outputs for pristine audio quality.

While summing, you can still access each individual module's output through their respective XLRs for DAW or tape recording, allowing versatile routing options. Internal jumpers allow feeding a secondary pair of outputs to slot 10, which can connect directly to the Cans headphone amplifier module or be used as a second stereo output set. The inputs on slot 9 also allow stereo cascade inputs to combine multiple Sweet Ten racks with Moiyn modules into larger mixers, effectively expanding channels.

The Moiyn uses differential summing amplifiers with 15 kOhm inputs to minimize loading and maintain balanced, discrete signal paths using high-quality discrete op-amps found in other Purple Audio modules. It is ROHS certified and draws low current (around 90mA).
